Would someone please give me some advice on the best way to handle petty cash
in Money Plus? If I take 50.00 out of my checking account, either by check
or ATM, to use as spending money for the week, how do I keep track of it.
Also, if I start out the new year with 50.00 in cash in my pocket, how do I
account for it? All advice is welcome.

Thanks Bob, for your suggestion. If I had gone one step further in setting
up accounts I would have found the listing for a cash account; but I stopped
at the initial page and it had banking and investments but no cash. All I
had to do was go to other. I guess that will teach me to keep looking and
not just assume it's not there. Your advice got me to look deeper. Again,
thank you very much.

You could create a separate account "Petty cash" or "Pocket Money" and
transfer 50.00 from your checking account and, depending how detailed you
want to be on tracking expenditure, either enter every item of expenditure
or by a process of back subtraction make a daily entry - Monday spend;
Tuesday spend etc.
