Is anyone else having trouble adding their cap one c/c. It just wont take. It
seems to think a bank account is being added rather than a c/c. Help.

from the list. |

Hey Cal, unfortunately that option disappeared with the update. Now the only
option is Capital One Bank. Formerly, I did use the Capital One rather than
the Capital One Bank if that option existed then. So......... help

When going through the add/setup process be sure to choose Credit Card first
(instead of Banking) before you choose the "C" list

Yes, i always have checked credit card first, it still seems to think i am
registering for online banking with capital one rather than just adding a
"reporting" account for a credit card.

Have you tried Adding a New account instead of just setting up services for
the existing account?

I am having the same problem. Yes I selected Credit Card first. I've even
deleted all of my accounts and started fresh and it still won't update
Capital One and I have both credit cards and a bank account with them and it
won't update either account type.

Try going out to the MSN Money site http://moneycentral.msn.com and go to
the Banking section and Account Balances to see if you can see your data
there when you sign in with the same Windows Live ID (Passport).
If not, try creating a new Windows Live ID and see if you can add your
accounts to that sign in on the MSN Money site to see if it works.
You may also want to see if there is some specific error message/code to
help identify the problem. See the "Check the status of an account in MSN
Money" section at the bottom of the Network Status page:

I have a Capital One Credit Card and found out you have to Choose Banking
first and then Choose "Capital One" not Capital One Bank Card account and it
works great!
Capital One Bank Card under Credit is for Online Banking(Checking), so
hopefully it will be fixed online.
