I installed Microsoft Money 2004, and now when I try to
connect to IE 5.5 I get an error message saying
"Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".

I tried downloading the latest version of IE (6.0), but
still have the same problem.

I also tried removing and re-installing money, with no
success. I have re-booted several times, and even with
money uninstalled completely, IE won't work, and I can't
access my control panel.

What is going on here and how do I undo it?

Any help is sincerely appreciated,
-Jamie

You need to fix your Windows problems. Try using ME's System Restore.
Hopefully you can access the Control Panel if you restore to an earlier
point in time prior to the Money installation.
