|
|
I do not know how or why this is happening. I opened a different bank
account in October. I imported my online statements to Money 2002 a day or
two ago. It insisted that I had started the account with a -614.83 balance.
I don't think it is possible to open a bank account with less than zero
dollars. I actually made an initial deposit of $200.00. The damn program
turns this into -414.83. I just got a copy of Money 2003 off eBay for $5.00.
Installed it over 2002. Same problem. Went to control panel and completely
removed the damn program. And Money Pack. Reinstalled it. Opened it. The
name of my bank was already there, so obviously it did not remove all the
information. Opened the account, and sure enough, there is a -614.83 opening
balance even with all statements removed. ?????
How can I clear this damn program and start with no opening balance at all?
Any answer appreciated,
Joe

Go to the account Details. There you will find a field where you can
zero the starting balance.
