Hello,
I've just been hit with a new problem. My Pentium 4, 2.53 Ghz computer
is running Windows XP Sp1, and IE ver. 6.00.2800.1106 but when I go to
Money Central to access my portfolio I get a message that indicates
that in order to use the deluxe features I must upgrade to something
newer than IE5. This is new today since Friday I was able to access my
portfolio without a
problem.
Since the machine already has ver 6.00.2800.1106 loaded I assumed that
I'd have to uninstall it and reinstall it....but I can't get just IE
out of the XP disk. Tried to download 6.0 off the MS download site but
the setup utility indicates that I have a newer version on the machine
and it won't install over it.
Soo....I'm thinking there must be a corrupted registry entry but I can't
find
it. What should I be looking for?....any other suggestions?
Marian

What does MoneyCentral see as your "User Agent", which identifies what
brower version and operating system you are using?
http://moneycentral.msn.com/inc/admin/general/httphead.asp
If the "HTTP_USERAGENT", does not say IE6, then something else on your
system is mangling the UserAgent.
