I am finally upgrading. I installed 2002 and when it
attempted to convert my 2001 file all I get is errors.
I've tried using both the backup and the .mny file. I've
also run super salvage utility on it and there were no
errors found. It will no open my file. I cannot start
entering everything over again. I bought the software so I
could attempt to keep up with the technology and I'm only
jumping up one version! Below is the error. The file is
not read-only, it does exist, and it is the exact file
that money is choosing to open. I need assistance please!
This just make me sick, all of my important information is
here and I can't upgrade my software. Thank you.

The pop-up box says that Money has selected a default
location for your backup file c:\program files......) I
click ok and then get the following message (Money cannot
locate or can't open the file possibly because it is a
read only file or you do not have permission to change it
or drive is write protected. If you have chosen the
correct file and it can't be accessed you will need to
click ok and open your most recent backup file.)
