In Money 2004, I've set up a mortgage in "Loans and
Liabilities" and established a monthly payment of P+I and
split the amounts with appropriate categories. However,
when I record a new payment transaction within the
account, my checking register shows a withdrawl of the
P+I but lists the category "Bills: Mortgage payment".
The whole withdrawl is categorized as an expense in the
checking register and in reports (but not in the loan
account, where it is recorded correctly as principal and
interest). I've tried to make a new category in the
checking register for the Principal which points to the
loan account, but the loan account is not listed in the
split window. Other than that, my only option is to call
the Principal either income or expense, which is not
correct.

How do I fix this?
