I had been a Money 2007 user but had not kept it up-to-date. I got religion
and decided to install Money Plus when prompted by the pop-up that a new
version was available.
I deleted my old accounts, installed Money Plus, downloaded my checking and
credit account from BOA without any problem.
Next time I started Money+ the software was trying to download from BOA even
though I had not set up the account as such. Might this be some residual
from the earlier install?
When I try to delete the account, Money+ tell me to wait as it is
downloading. Of course it can't. When I try to categorize the downloaded
files, Money+ tells me I can't because the file is being download even
though it is a different file.
Then the CPU usage goes to 100% as Money+ tries to sort this out.
ANY ideas on how to proceed? Reinstall Money 2007?

You "downloaded my checking and credit account from BOA" and then
you say "had not set up the account as such". What do you mean?
Do you mean you don't want to download from BOA in the future?
The group for Microsoft Money is microsoft.public.money.

You may end up having to go to moneycentral.msn.com and deleting the
info that you don't want to go into Microsoft Money. I responded to
your other post too.

Sorry for posting in the wrong group. I will answer your questions and move
the question to the correct group. Thanks for the input.
When I said I did not set the account up as such I meant to say I did not
specify any updating information. Only that it was a BOA account. I did
not enter any account information. But for some reason Money+ tries to do
an automagic account update.
I want to be able to download when I choose, via download, not have Money+
automagically do it.
Thank you for the feedback.
