I forgot my Windows Live password and successfully changed it. Now I can log
into my Hotmail no problem but the new Windows Live password doesn't give
access to my Money 2004 file. When I click Money 2004, then "Forgotten your
password", previously this led to a Microsoft Passport website which asked me
a question and I could reaccess Money. Now instead it leads to
https://memberservices.passport.net/ppsecure/MSRV_ResetPW.srf?lc=2057&cbid=486
and I get the message: "There is a problem with this website's security
certificate.
The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a
different website's address. Security certificate problems may indicate an
attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server. We

How can I reset the password to access Money 2004?

A similar issue has occurred to us. Like Allie's account, ours went down
around the beginning of February. We also switched to Windows Live, and
though we have uninterrupted access to Hotmail, we are unable to sign in to
Money 04. Our error message differs from those mentioned; it simply states
"The sign-in attempt was unsuccessful. Please try your sign-in name and
password again."
How can this issue be resolved? We have used Money since 2000 and would
hate to switch to another program because a glitch.
