Hello:

Does anyone know the best way to enter transaction(s) into
money to show the swap of a stock from one CO to another.
Basically the first company is sold to another, and there
is a stock swap for 1.234 shares for new company for each
1.0 of old company.

I am looking to do this in a manner that Money does not
show any tax changes at all, since there should not be.

I entered transactions to sell the first, then buy the
second at the 1.234 shares per, but is appears to affect
the taxes.
Thanks in advance
Scott

Go to the details for the investment and choose "Record a merger".
