Drag-and-drop does not work, but SHOULD! That would be the easy way. There
is no way, looking at the menu selections, to easily move an investment
around, without starting all over by entering the existing info into a new
account, and then deleting that info from the existing account. Please email
me the response to

Thanks.

I came to this group looking for a better way, but I can tell you one tedious
way to do it. Open the investment, click on a transaction and click edit.
Click the arrow to the right of the Inv. Account, and select a different
account. Do this for every transaction for the investment. After moving
every transaction for the investment, the entire investment will be moved to
the other account. Repeat for each account you want to move. If you have as
many investments and as many transactions as I do, this will take a long
time. If anyone knows a better way, please respond.

Thanks, Rick. I forgot that I had posted the question! I posted it back on
4/20. Yours was the only response. I wonder why Microsoft doesn't look at
these posts and respond. Hmm... Anyway, I'll try it your way.

No msft folks, just a cross-section of volunteers.

Drag and drop did work in earlier versions of the portfolio but one of the
improvement upgrades eliminated it.

I have found that sometimes you need to 'copy' the first transaction, move
the rest as described below and then delete the first transaction in the
original account. Don't know why but this seems to be the way I need to do
it.
